WHOEVER HAS A BOUNTIFUL EYE WILL BE BLESSED, FOR THEY SHARE THEIR BREAD WITH THE ONES WHO NEED IT.

At the tiny farm we carefully steward 46 acres of land in the Hudson Valley. Ten acres are committed to no-till rotational fields and perennial plots, nurturing seasonal vegetables, fruits, and herbs. The remaining thirty-six acres are devoted to a wooded silvopasture, maple tap, hunting grounds and Shitake mushroom production.

Showcasing sustainable farming techniques our goal is to provide healthy food and increasing the opportunity for community members to engage in the growing of this produce. Our work centers on providing education in sustainable agriculture and food equity, providing access to land and fresh produce for low-income, low-access communities.

We call on all local growers and gardeners to participate in the community farm. Come explore, support and encourage the growth of a strong local food system based upon agricultural education and healthy food production.

greenhouse
& off-grid water

the tiny farm greenhouse lets us create our own microclimate, controlling the temperature exposed to seedlings and plants.

Whether we start early in the season or extend our vegetable growing late into fall, the greenhouse provides an adaptable growing environment we need, especially during our Seeds-to-Starter program.

Our new off-grid water system relies upon natural rainwater catchment and does not require energy-intensive treatment and distribution processes.

The benefits of rain water encompass conservation, cost, and the ease of collection, having a lower environmental impact than centralized water supplies.

no-till
permaculture

At the tiny farm, we utilize no-till farming, an agricultural technique for growing crops without disturbing the soil through tillage. No-till farming decreases the amount of soil erosion tillage causes.

Other benefits include an increase in the amount of water that infiltrates into the soil, soil retention of organic matter, and nutrient cycling. In turn, these methods increase the amount and variety of life in and on the soil.

Come visit the farm, centrally located in the Hudson Valley. Explore what is growing in the fields, hike a trail or play with a chicken, all visitors are welcome!

Fresh Produce

At our farm, we embrace the principles of permaculture to cultivate a diverse array of perennial herbs, fruits, and seasonal vegetables. Through thoughtful design and mindful practices, we've created an ecosystem where each plant harmoniously interacts with the others, fostering resilience and sustainability. Our commitment to permaculture extends beyond mere cultivation; it's a philosophy that guides every aspect of our operation, from soil health to water management.

Among our bountiful offerings are luscious blackberries and crisp apples, nurtured to perfection through natural methods that prioritize long-term ecosystem health. The aromatic herbs in our garden, including sage, oregano, and rosemary, thrive in symbiosis with one another, creating a fragrant tapestry of flavors.

Meanwhile, our seasonal vegetables, such as asparagus, ginger, and garlic, are cultivated with care and attention to the rhythms of nature, ensuring each harvest is not only abundant but also in harmony with the surrounding environment. Through our permaculture practices, we aim not just to produce food but to cultivate a regenerative landscape that nourishes both body and soul.

FARM & GARDEN WEAR

Our mission is driven by a deep passion for creating unique and sustainable clothing. Our focus on high-quality, bespoke manufacturing and design using vintage and ethically sourced materials allows us to produce one-of-a-kind pieces that are both beautiful and environmentally responsible.

We draw inspiration from the comfort of sportswear and the aesthetics of modern fashion, resulting in a distinctive interpretation of essential clothing items with a mix of technical touches and unique fabric combinations. Our commitment to sustainability means we source our materials from vintage and deadstock sources, reducing waste and ensuring that each garment is truly unique.

We take pride in every garment we create, carefully stitching and detailing each piece to meet our exacting standards for quality and longevity. We believe that clothing should be an investment, something to be cherished and worn for years to come.

Whether you're looking for a statement piece or a new favorite basic, we have something for everyone!
